Online-Education in a three dimensional Environment Since the end of 2007 we, as an adult education institute, offer a training for a professional use of virtual worlds. We teach people to move around, act and work in a virtual world. They learn to communicate, arrange meetings and are able to help others in feeling at home in this new medium. This training is called 3D-Online Pass and allows a professional use of virtual three dimensional platforms. Team-Meetings, Conferences, Customer presentation, Staff- Training - without any travel-expenses Companies don't operate in one place anymore. They expand within our outside the country or continent. Employes have to move along. To ensure an optimal communication between staff members, customers and external suppliers, it is necessary to use modern communications techniques. Next to the more common methods like E-Mails, videoconferences, Voice over IP or chatrooms, three dimensional virtual worlds will be used for an almost reallife communication in future. We want to set standards: a minimal requirement for staff that works in companies in a 3D-world (information counters, shop assistants, event organisation…), but also for people who organize virtual meetings and staff trainings. Those structured and efficient training sessions are part of our 3D-Online Pass which teaches and tests the skills in virtual worlds. The 3D-Online Pass consists of two moduls with 7 to 8 classes, each with a duration of 90 minutes. In addition you can book two more modules for a specialized usage of virtual worlds Module 1: Basics Certified Beginners Module 2: Basics Certified Advanced Module 3: Basics Certified Teacher Module 4: Basics Certified Business Online examination - one person at a time Training on demand is possible - training sessions for staff members in a closed group On demand: possibility for online-teaching in topics like talking in front of others, attending to customers …all classes inworld in Second Life.
